Existing clients: monitoring is already on it; call to coordinate. New to Netbringer? Call anyway. We help first and sort paperwork later.

While You’re Reaching Us

Do

  • Disconnect affected machines from the network (unplug the cable / turn off Wi-Fi) to stop spread.
  • Leave machines powered on. Memory contains evidence investigators need.
  • Write down what you saw: messages on screen, odd emails, the time it started, who noticed.
  • Alert your team not to open suspicious messages or log into affected systems.

Don’t

  • Don’t pay a ransom or contact attackers before talking to us (and likely your insurer).
  • Don’t run cleanup or antivirus “fix-it” tools. They can destroy evidence and make recovery harder.
  • Don’t wipe or reinstall anything yet, even if it seems like the fast way back.
  • Don’t keep using affected accounts, especially email and banking, until they’re cleared.

When to use this line

What Counts as an Emergency?

If it’s stopping your business or threatening your data, it’s an emergency. When in doubt — call.

  • Ransomware message or files suddenly encrypted / renamed
  • Suspicious sign-ins, password resets you didn’t request, or email sending itself
  • Wire/payment fraud in progress or a vendor payment that “changed banks”
  • Server, network, or phone system down and business stopped
  • Critical data deleted, drive failure, or a lost/stolen device with company data

Not urgent? Use the contact form and we’ll respond within one business day.

What Happens When You Call

  • Triage, immediately. An engineer assesses scope with you on the line: what’s affected, what’s spreading, what to isolate first.
  • Contain & preserve. We stop the bleeding, protect evidence, and coordinate with your insurer or authorities when needed.
  • Recover & harden. Systems restored, root cause closed, and a plain-English debrief so this never happens twice.
